Kaizer Chiefs and football lovers in Mzansi are sharing their views on the announcement that the club’s founder Kaizer Motaung will be inducted into the South African Hall of Fame.
Chiefs announced the exciting news on Tuesday and the fans in Mzansi are now sharing their views, congratulating the Chiefs founder and chairman, Motaung for his top honour.

Some Mzansi fans on Facebook and Twitter feel the team coached by Molefi Ntseki must reward the chairman with a trophy or two this season.
MZANSI REACTS TO CHIEFS FOUNDER’S HONOUR
The South African selects comments from scores of social media users in Mzansi who are delighted for the Chiefs founder, Motaung’s honour.
Looking at Motaung’s role in football, the former Orlando Pirates and Chiefs legend who founded his club in 1970 is held in high honour.

@Koloti Maphathe replied:

AMAKHOSI FOUNDER AND CHAIRMAN TO BE HONOURED
As also reported by The South African, the Hall of Fame said the induction ceremony will, in a very special collaboration with leading South African hospitality and entertainment group Tsogo Sun.
“The South African Hall of Fame is set to honour the legendary Dr. Kaizer Motaung on Thursday, November 9,” said Hall of Fame chair Johnny Burger.

“Motaung, an iconic figure in South African sports history, has significantly shaped the landscape of football in the nation. As the visionary founder and chair of the renowned Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, his influence reaches far beyond the field.
“With this induction, his extraordinary contributions will be permanently enshrined in the annals of the South African Hall of Fame.”
Looking at previous inductees, Mzansi’s football great Jomo Sono and Bafana Bafana’s 1996 African Nations Cup-winning side are some of the notable recipients of such an honour.
