Boks lose their second sponsor in just two days

Netwerk24 reports that BMW’s local spokesperson, Diederik Reitsma, confirmed that the car manufacturer will not renew its sponsorship contract with the Springboks when it expires in December.

This just a day after Absa said it will cancel its Springbok sponsorship as well as its 30 year Currie Cup sponsorship; costing SARY around R100 million a year.

Doesn’t look like 2016 is going to start off all that well for local rugby.
