Who were the last pair of brothers to START for the Springboks?
Jaden and Jordan Hendrikse are the 36th set of brothers to feature for the Springboks, and the first pair to START in nearly 10 years.
Hendrikse brothers Jaden and Jordan – who play at scrumhalf and flyhalf respectively – will run out together for the Springboks this weekend.
The Sharks duo have been paired at halfback for the final Autumn International Test, against Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.
The last time a set of brothers played for the Springboks was also against the Welsh.
Dan and Robert du Preez featured in an exhibition match against Wales in Washington DC at the start of the 2018 season.
The last brotherly starting pair
The last time a pair of brothers were included in the starting team for the Boks however was almost a decade ago.
In the 2015 Rugby World Cup pool match against Scotland, front rowers Jannie and Bismarck du Plessis ran out together in the English city of Newcastle.
Before that, Ndungane twins Akona and Odwa both played on the wing for the Springboks, although never featured in the same Springbok squad.

Hanekom the latest Springbok debutante
Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus continues to test the depth of his squad, and has named Bulls loose forward Cameron Hanekom on the replacements bench this weekend.
Hanekom is set to become the 12th Springbok to make his Test debut this season.
The matchday 23 shows seven personnel changes to the team that beat England 29-20 at Twickenham last Saturday.
Jordan Hendrikse is the only change in the backline, while there are five changes to the starting pack. Johan Grobbelaar starts at hooker, while Thomas du Toit returns at tighthead prop.
The team also boats a new lock pairing in the form of fit-again Jean Kleyn and Franco Mostert. In the loose trio, Elrigh Louw replaces Pieter-Steph du Toit (who is nursing a niggle).
“This is our last match of the season, and we are determined to finish the year on a positive note,” said Erasmus.
“We selected a squad that shows a good mix of experience and youth, which is crucial as we look to maintain some consistency in selection, while at the same time giving guys like Jordan and Cameron, who have been exceptional at training on tour, a chance to show us what they can do.”
Kick-off is at 19:40 (South African time).
