Packing my truck full of batteries and toys, I would get in my car and start driving. I would travel, seeing things I only dreamed of, writing in my journal and pleasuring myself at each stop. I would not kill myself, because I am an optimst. I refuse to accept the fact that if I survived, someone else didn't either.

I would stay sane for a good while assuming there was electricity and I had some videogames. Its what keeps me sane now. Videogames and masturbation. But eventually all the games will be conquered and all the magazines boring.

I'd go to a sex store and STILL be too ashamed to buy anything. Sheesh I'm a wuss. I'd rob a bank, but leave money for everything I took from stores. Odd, no?

i just remembered the unlimited amount of once illegal drugs i'll have for my own use. fucking hell, i'll be stoned out of my mind all day! :shock:

 

i'm a people person. i have to have interaction. i enjoy talking to people.

i remember i had a job at a bank, and i was a large money teller. i had my own office, i was by myself, counting money from 9-5. i quit after a few months, and went back to working with the public. i just can't do it.


sure, i could do what i enjoy all day. read. write stories. surf. ski. camp. etc. but at the end of the day, i was alone. i don't think i'd survive long.

 

No way could I just sit and pine away, no matter how nice of place I could find. So I would become nomadic, some days by foot, some by car, some by motorcycle, hell, maybe a tank. Would travel light as there is an abundance of goods throughout my journey, would try to find something of interest to do daily. Indulge my every whim...and yes, you are probably right Ink, at some point lack of human interaction would drive me mad. Don't believe humans are designed as solitary animals.

 

after a year or so all animals would be born completely feral including pets such as dogs and cats. regularly wild animals would lose their fear of man and start stalking the inner cities and towns they would have normally avoided. vegetation would grown wild and start to invade and swallow up all exposed structures. Jungles and forests would begin to reemerge and dominate the landscape. You would become prey. everyday would be a constant struggle to stay alive.... fighting of attackers and avoiding predators and disease. the nights would become freezing cold because of the reduced amount of heat generated during the day by human activities. Finding shelter from the cold and elements would be a nightly trek because all glass windows would eventually crack and break from the exposure. Wild animals would have broken into most homes and businesses wherever there was food stored and many would take up residence inside. This would make finding and preserving food quite risky.

All in all, you may not even have enough time to go crazy before mother nature did you in.

 

how many of you readers think you actually have the skills necessary to survive on your own in what is now...the wild? can you start and maintain a fire every night, for the whole night? or do you plan on hauling around a propane tank with you everywhere you go? undoubtedly you'd be forced into a nomadic lifestyle. Staying put in one spot would lead to you being hunted down and eaten by carnivores or wearing out your supplies of food and water.

 

I would build a house to my Likings or maybe just find a nice decent sized house. Build a airtight room and put in Coolers so the entire room is cooled, stock up all my food, and beer. Go find a Tanker truck and go to a gas station and fill completly up and park it at the house. then go find a bad ass car and bring it home. And to be realistic you wouldnt know you were the only one on earth you would always think there was another human city or refugee left and id search for that for the rest of my life.
