Having lost 5-4 on penalties to Jwaneng Galaxy after the two leg tie ended 1-1, the Sea Robbers have now been eliminated from CAF inter-club competitions this season.

In July, CAF scrapped the additional round for this season meaning Orlando Pirates won’t have another opportunity to compete in Africa. They’ll have to win the DStv Premiership or finish second to feature again in the Champions League.
