A woman has become a millionaire after winning R11 066 503.80 in the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot from the 1 February 2025 draw. The mom, who is self-employed, has shared her plans for the winnings.

Ithuba has revealed that the winner of the draw at the beginning of this month has claimed their winnings., reported IOL. The winner of the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot purchased their ticket using a banking app and was informed by the bank that she won.

The mom spent R200 on her winning ticket. She also shared with the lottery operator that she played once a week, and expressed her disbelief.

“It’s a dream come true, and I still can’t believe I’ve won. I’m still on cloud nine. I told my husband first, and we’re both still trying to process this incredible news,” she told Ithuba.

The woman has detailed how she’s planning to spend her winnings from the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot. She disclosed her passion for sports, particularly golf, and said she plans to travel the world pursuing what she loves.

The winner also plans to secure her family’s future by investing her money wisely. But that’s not all she desires to do. She’s also going to give a portion of her winnings to charitable causes.
