Heading into the 2025 season, Max Verstappen is the defending drivers’ champion – for a fourth consecutive year – while McLaren are the reigning constructors’ title winners.
The first race of the 2025 season in Melbourne, Australia was won by Lando Norris in his McLaren, while in China it was his team-mate Oscar Piastri who took victory.
In Japan, Verstappen showed his class in winning his first race of the season, while last weekend in Bahrain it was Piastri who became the first repeat winner of the season.
After four races this season, Norris leads the way with 77 points, ahead of Piastri (74).
Verstappen is in third (69), ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell in fourth (63).
As a reminder, the 2024 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix was won by Red Bull’s Verstappen ahead of his then team-mate Sergio Perez with Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari in third.
