Today we observe South African Heritage Day public holiday, so let’s play a round of ‘Tell me you’re South African …’

Today we observe Heritage Day (24 September 2023) after yesterday’s public holiday fell on a Sunday. So, as a way to celebrate our unique heritage, why don’t you, ‘Tell me you’re South African without telling me you’re South African.’

Braais, Green and Gold, the ‘green mamba’ ID booklet, there’s too much fodder for this one. It’s a throwback to the Tell-me-Without-Telling-Me TikTok challenge of a few years back. But, as a way to celebrate the great South African collective and our sometimes strained heritage, what better way is there!?

Basically, Tell me you’re South African without telling me … is all about sharing that uniquely South African trait without saying it in so many words directly. After-all, things are more poignant when you figure them out for yourself.
