Johann Bezuidenhout in Port Elizabeth: ‘Lockdown Chronicles’
A Nelson Mandela Bay resident has filmed his own version of ‘Survivor’ to lighten South Africans’ #lockdownlife load.

I made these two videos, titled Lockdown Chronicles Part 1 and Lockdown Chronicles Part 2, during lockdown.
We are all going through a difficult time, so I filmed these to cheer people up. The videos have been very popular over social media on the #ShutSADown Facebook page and I would love for more people to see them.
I have been making videos for he past four years for friends and because of the lockdown I have had time on my hands to make these two videos.
I think South Africans have an incredible sense of humour and we can laugh just about at anything.
