Prince Harry turns 40: Surprise public wishes from royal family

Prince Harry received surprise public birthday wishes from King Charles and Prince William for the first time in three years.

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry received surprise public birthday wishes from both his father, King Charles III and his brother, Prince William on his 40th birthday on 15 September.

PRINCE HARRY RECEIVES SURPRISE BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM ROYAL FAMILY

The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry turned the big 40 on Sunday 15 September. Surprisingly, he received public birthday wishes from the royal family for the first time in three years, on this milestone birthday.

Prince Harry’s father, King Charles III shared a birthday wish to his son on social media, along with a photo of hum from 2018 when visiting Dogpatch Labs in Dublin, Ireland, as per Page Six.

“Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!” read the tweet shared on the official X account of the royal family, which is run by Charles’ office at Buckingham Palace.

Prince William and Kate Middleton also shared a birthday tribute to Prince Harry on their official X account, Kensington Royal.

“Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!” read the tweet.

This comes after Kate Middleton revealed that she is cancer-free.

PRINCE HARRY: ‘I’M EXCITED ABOUT 40’

The Duke of Sussex expressed that he was anxious about turning 30, but he is excited about 40. He explained that his mission is to continued doing good in the world.

“I was anxious about 30, I’m excited about 40,” he said in a statement to BBC.

“Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world.

He also expressed the importance of his children in his life. Prince Harry has two children with his wife Meghan Markle – Archie (5) and Lilibet (3).

“Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work,” he said.

Prince Harry went on to say that being a father is one of the greatest joys in life and often made him more committed to making the world a better place.

“Being a dad is one of life’s greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place,” he continued.
