Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala recently celebrated his 40th birthday, and his wife Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala pulled out all the stops to make it picture-perfect.

Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala tagged a host of legends, including Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Doctor Khumalo, to celebrate Siphiwe Tshabalala’s birthday.

However, Siphiwe Tshabalala said the black-tie-themed event was a “well-executed surprise.”

However, Bokang Montjane shared videos and photos from the celebration as she recalled how she made it a ‘Big Surprise.’

Siphiwe Tshabalala’s wife posted, “I told him I’m taking him out for a private dinner and that he should dress to kill! Little did he know I had called a few people he’s close with to come and celebrate his big milestone with him.

“Throwing him a surprise party was quite a mission. I hope you enjoyed every moment as you entered the 4th floor. I hope this day was super special.

“You looked shocked, but most importantly, you looked so happy, which is more than enough for me. You deserve everything good in this life, you deserve everything beautiful in this world,” she added.

Against the post, The South African has since established that Siphwe Tshabalala was born on 25 September 1994 in Soweto, South Africa.

Their posts have gained thousands of comments and reactions since dropping online. However, fans quickly gave their picture-perfect marriage a stamp of approval.

CAREER

Siphiwe Tshabalala started his youth career at Phiri Arsenal in 1991 and left in 1994. Joined Phiri Movers in 1994, left in 1997 for Kaizer Chiefs youth academy, and left in 2002.

He had a colourful stint with Moroka Swallows from 2002 to 2003. Spihwe Tshabalala started his senior career with Alexandra United in 2003 and left for Free State Stars in 2004.

In 2007, he joined Kaizer Chiefs and had over 250 appearances for the club before leaving in 2018.

From Chiefs, he had a stint with BB Erzurumspor before joining AmaZulu ahead of the 2020/2021 season. This was undoubtedly his last dance in the DStv premier league.
