Since announcing her divorce from her estranged husband, Siya Kolisi, Rachel Kolisi has been expressing her emotions online, and she is in disbelief at how drastically her life has changed.
She has revealed on Instagram that February has been particularly challenging for her.
‘I’M FOCUSING ON THE GOOD AND EXCITED TO SHARE WHAT’S TO COME’: RACHEL KOLISI
Rachel Kolisi has been open about her emotions and healing journey as she navigates her divorce from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.
Rachel and Siya share two children together—Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7)—and they also adopted Siya’s two younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, when they were younger.
On Tuesday, Rachel provided her fans with an update on how she is managing. The mother of two admitted that “February is showing her flames.”
She also mentioned that she is focusing on positive things and is excited to share them soon.
“I can’t believe this is my life.” The amount of times I’ve said this in the last week (both for good and hard reasons) is wild.
She continued: “Feb is showing me flames 😂 and working on so many good things with so many good people!! Can’t wait to share! ❤️”
RACHEL OPENS UP ABOUT MOTHERHOOD
Rachel is focusing her energy on raising her kids well and working on the Kolisi Foundation. The mother of two was recently a guest on The O-Factor on Heart FM, where she opened up about motherhood. She talked about the crucial role adults play in raising their children properly.
“As adults, we can’t control what happens to us in our childhood. Almost every individual walking this earth has some childhood heartache that lingers into adulthood. I believe that once we become adults, it’s our responsibility to address these issues in order to be better for our children and raise a generation that, while not necessarily trauma-free, will have a less traumatic childhood.”
