The Springbok and his wife – who is expecting their first child – have been together for over a decade!
The couple are currently based in the UK, where Handre plays for the Leicester Tigers.

MARISE AND HANDRE POLLARD CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY
On Instagram, both Handre and Marise dedicated Instagram posts to their anniversary milestone.
The famous flyhalf posted: “Year 6 of being married to you has been crazy, but by far the best and most memorable of them all. I love you so much, and can’t wait to grow our family with you”.

Marise shared images from their wedding day, which took place at the Cavalli Estate in Somerset West.
She captioned the pics: “Married six years today and love it more than ever”.

WHERE DID THEY MEET?
According to Woman And Home, the couple first began dating in 2013, while Marise was a student at The University of Pretoria and Pollard was playing for the Bulls.
The couple met as teens through Facebook and would go on to wed in 2017.

According to The Sun, Marise – a gold-medallist in athletics – claimed the rugby star was not her usual type.
She said: “He wasn’t the kind of guy I would usually fall for. But he was incredibly attractive to me! He was strong, muscular, and an introvert.”
