Semifinalists – Bafana Bafana celebrated their Afcon win against Cape Verde dancing and singing in the dressing room.
Bafana Bafana’s dressing room dancing went viral as they celebrated beating Cape Verde at the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) on 3 February.
It was a closed match with no goals, separated by a penalty shootout. South Africa had been shocking many fans with their Afcon run, and they seemed to be going for more. Many fans thought they would not surpass Cape Verde when they eliminated Morocco, but here they are.

Bafana is set to lock horns with Nigeria in the semifinals, and many fans consider them an underdog. Despite being an underdog since the start of the tournament, they are celebrating every win like it’s their last. After the game against Cape Verde, they sang and danced as they continued to march on.

One of their videos made rounds on social media after they pulled exciting dances in the dressing room. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) shared the video and showed how much they loved Bafana’s dancing.
