Sabrina Carpenter made waves on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as she celebrated reaching a historic milestone in the music charts.

SABRINA CARPENTER ON JIMMY FALLON

The 25-year-old pop sensation appeared on the show wearing a dazzling blue outfit to mark the release of her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet.

On this exciting episode, Jimmy Fallon hailed Carpenter as the standout artist of the summer, according to Daily Mail.

“This is your summer,” Fallon declared, and it was clear that the sentiment was well-deserved. Carpenter’s excitement was palpable as she discussed her latest achievements.

SABRINA CARPENTER’S ACHIEVEMENTS

Fallon announced that Carpenter had become the first artist since The Beatles to have two songs debut in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100.

Her tracks, Espresso and Please Please Please, have been dominating the charts and streaming platforms like Spotify.

“The Beatles one sounds fake,” Carpenter joked, clearly in disbelief at the comparison.

SABRINA CARPENTER AND THE BEATLES

Fallon reassured her, “No, the Beatles one is real.” Carpenter playfully added, “But there’s one of me and four of them. So I don’t understand. The math doesn’t math.”

Despite her apparent disbelief, Carpenter’s enthusiasm was genuine, according to Billboard.

“How cool is it to be in the same sentence as The Beatles?” Fallon asked.

“Very cool,” Carpenter responded. “That’s an understatement. I don’t really have the words for it. I’m just so grateful that you guys are listening.”

LOVE FOR ESPRESSO

Fallon also brought up a tweet Sabrina Carpenter had sent back in March 2016, where she mentioned her love for espresso.

“So I was 15 drinking espresso, which says a lot about my parents or me I don’t know,” Carpenter said, reflecting on her early caffeine cravings.

THE NEW ALBUM

In addition to discussing her chart success and social media memories, Sabrina Carpenter revealed her excitement about her new album.

“It really feels like a self-titled album to me in a weird way,” she said. “Short n’ Sweet is sort of Sabrina in another language.

It’s blunt, forward, fun, and full of some of the best memories I’ve had over the last two years.”

SABRINA CARPENTER’S UPCOMING TOUR

The conversation shifted to Carpenter’s upcoming arena tour, her first ever, according to Just Jared.

“I’m so small and those stages are so big,” she admitted.

“I want it to be the best show for everyone attending.”

Her tour, starting on 23 September at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, will cover 47 dates.

THE MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS

Adding to the excitement, Sabrina Carpenter will also perform at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on 10 September. She will be competing for six Moonperson trophies.

Categories include Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Pop, as well as technical awards for Best Editing, Best Direction, and Best Art Direction.

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE

Carpenter’s energy and talent were evident when she later performed Please Please Please on Fallon’s show, barefoot atop a white grand piano.

Her performance was a testament to her dynamic stage presence and commitment to her craft.

As Sabrina Carpenter continues to make headlines and break records, her fans in South Africa around the world eagerly anticipate her next moves.

With her new album soaring and her tour on the horizon, it’s clear that Sabrina Carpenter is having a stellar year.
