Mariah Carey has once again left fans in awe, this time with a wax figure that looks so much like her that fans can’t believe their eyes.

MARIAH CAREY’S NEW WAX TWIN

The new figure was unveiled at Madame Tussauds New York. It is so lifelike that fans are struggling to tell the difference between the real Mariah and her wax twin.

With Christmas fast approaching, the timing couldn’t be more perfect, according to Today.

The pop icon’s beloved holiday anthem, All I Want for Christmas Is You, signals the start of the festive season worldwide. This wax figure only adds to the excitement.

MARIAH CAREY’S WAX FIGURE DETAILS

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Mariah moment without a dash of glitz and glamour.

Dressed in a striking red gown inspired by Marilyn Monroe, the wax figure stands as a stunning tribute to Mariah’s holiday spirit.

She even went as far as donating her own jewellery to add an extra touch of authenticity, according to the Express Tribune.

The ensemble includes a red ruby necklace, matching earrings, and dazzling rings.

MARIAH CAREY SHARES ON SOCIAL MEDIA

“Finally found someone to help me out with the toy delivery this year! Thank you, Madame Tussauds New York,” Mariah wrote on Instagram. She shared the festive reveal with her followers.

The level of detail has left fans absolutely floored, according to the Daily Mail.

“That’s honestly scarily accurate and alike. The best wax figure I’ve seen ever,” one fan commented on social media.

FAMILY REACTIONS TO THE MARIAH CAREY WAX FIGURE

Another added, “It looks like her more than her!” And a third fan echoed, “She literally has the best wax figure ever. Every single other one looks weird.”

But perhaps the most heartwarming reactions came from Mariah’s twin sons, Moroccan and Monroe. They joined her to see the figure in person.

Thirteen-year-old Moroccan was especially impressed, saying, “Wow! It’s like I’m looking at you through a mirror.”

Mariah couldn’t agree more. “Wow! It’s surreal. Very good. Look at those shoes!” she exclaimed, visibly thrilled by the waxwork’s realism.

WINTER WONDERLAND

Standing in a room transformed into a winter wonderland, the wax figure is perfectly at home in its festive setting.

Mariah shared that she wanted to create an ‘All I Want For Christmas all-year-round experience’ with the display.

She added, “The whole room is a complete transformation into Christmastime, and it feels like the perfect home for it.”

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS

South African fans are as excited as anyone else.

Many have grown up hearing Mariah’s Christmas hit on the radio and in shopping centres each December.

Now, seeing the festive tribute to Mariah in New York has left fans around the globe buzzing with holiday anticipation.

THE HOLIDAY SEASON

As the world gears up for its own summer holiday season, many South Africans are feeling inspired to bring a touch of Mariah’s Christmas magic into their own homes.

The accuracy of the wax figure highlights the remarkable craftsmanship that Madame Tussauds is known for. It is safe to say Mariah’s wax twin has set a new standard.

QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS

Fans on social media couldn’t stop marvelling at the likeness. “She looks just like her,” commented one fan. “They must have cloned her!”

It’s a fitting tribute to a singer whose presence is as iconic as the holiday season itself.

And while the Christmas season officially begins for many when Mariah’s song hits the airwaves, this wax figure serves as a reminder that her influence extends far beyond music.
