Kim Kardashian is reeling after ex-husband Kanye West dropped a controversial new track featuring their 11-year-old daughter North. This is despite her frantic legal efforts to block it.

KANYE WEST’S NEW SONG

The song, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, debuted on West’s X account on Saturday, plunging the family into fresh turmoil.

Kanye West’s collaboration with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs – who faces federal sex trafficking charges – ignited a firestorm, according to Rolling Stone.

The song opens with Diddy’s voice thanking West for supporting him during his legal battles. West then calls him a “father figure”.

North West raps a brief verse: “When you see me shining, then you see the light”. But Kardashian had fought tooth and nail to stop the release.

CEASE AND DESIST LETTERS

Sources claim she sent cease-and-desist letters and requested an emergency court hearing. She feared North’s involvement would tie her to Diddy’s scandal, according to The Tribune.

Kanye West allegedly agreed to delay the track but defied her, sparking a heated text exchange. Screenshots of their alleged texts reveal a bitter clash over North’s trademark.

Kardashian insisted she’d secured the rights to their children’s names “so no one else could trademark them”.

She claims West agreed to this deal when their kids were born. The trademark would transfer to North at 18, but West threatened: “Amend it or I’m going to war”.

KIM KARDASHIAN FIGHTS BACK

Kim Kardashian is now “working to get the song taken down” and seeking court intervention to shield North from West’s “hateful speech”.

Insiders say she’s “devastated” by the move, which follows weeks of limited contact between West and their children, according to Marca.

While the drama unfolds in Hollywood, its themes of parental rights and celebrity power resonate globally.

As one local commentator noted: “It’s a stark reminder that even the world’s most privileged families face messy battles over children’s welfare.”

KANYE WEST’S ERRATIC BEHAVIOUR

North’s brief rap verse has drawn mixed reactions. While some praise her confidence, others question whether an 11-year-old should be dragged into adult controversies.

Kanye West’s defiance has reignited debates about his erratic behaviour, from Nazi imagery in his designs to erratic social media outbursts.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian’s legal team is reportedly exploring options to limit North’s exposure to future projects.

This saga isn’t just about a song – it’s a clash of egos, ethics, and the enduring cost of fame.
