South African musician turned businessman DJ Sbu just headed online to show his support for natural hair and dreadlocks. This comes after the trending story of the young Midrand student who was kicked out of school for allegedly wearing dreadlocks. After returning to the premises with her parent, she was shoved by the principal’s husband.

While Sbu didn’t make mention of the incident, many in the comment section praised him for embracing his natural hair and encouraging others to do the same.

Earlier this week, social media users all weighed in after watching a young school girl get pushed by a grown man.

According to posts shared by the child’s mother and sibling, the altercation came as a result of her being kicked out of class for wearing “extended” dreads.

The mother of the child denies using extensions and claims that the school has a problem with the dreadlocks itself.
