Chris Rock not ‘concerned’ with Jada Pinkett Smith’s plea after ‘that slap’
Chris Rock has reportedly responded following Jada Pinkett Smith’s remarks about reconciling with her husband after the Oscars slap.
American comedian and actor Chris Rock has reportedly indirectly responded after Jada Pinkett Smith took to her show Red Table Talk on Wednesday 1 June to ask that he reconciles with Will Smith.
In March, The Pursuit of Happyness actor had done the unthinkable when he slapped Rock across the face at the Oscars after the comedian had made a joke about Jada’s hair loss condition – alopecia.

CHRIS ROCK IS NOT ‘CONCERNED’ ABOUT THE SMITHS
According to a source, Rock is not paying any mind to Jada’s plea for him and her husband to come together and reconcile.
“He’s not concerned with the Smiths at the moment. He’s touring and he’s preparing for a comedy special,” a source told Entertainment Online.
In addition, the source said that Rock is focusing on himself.
“Chris is the most genuine person ever, nothing he does is calculated or phoney, and he is not caught up in the Hollywood scene.”
The I Think I Love My Wife actor has not directly addressed what happened on that night. He has, however, joked that he’ll only talk about it if he gets paid for it. Rock also took a swipe at Smith after Dave Chappelle was attacked by a guest at his live comedy event in May.

JADA’S PLEA
Addressing the infamous Oscars slap last week, Jada said her “deepest hope” is that Rock and Smith “talk this out”.
The actress had decided to turn her husband’s blowup into a teachable moment about alopecia, dedicating the episode to the hair loss disorder that affects her and many others.
“About Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.
“The state of the world today, we need them both, and we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that keeps figuring out this thing called life together,” she said.
