Cassper says nothing will happen to him over AKA’s ‘The Braai Show’ win
‘Even if the broer did cartwheels naked on Mandela bridge, there’s nothing that’s gonna happen,’ said Cassper.
Last week, South African rapper Kiernan Forbes, well known by his stage name AKA, excitedly shared that he had court documents to prove that he owns half of The Braai Show. Since then, Twitter users have been trolling AKA’s nemesis, Cassper Nyovest who they said could now get sued for his involvement in the show’s productions.
Cassper has since spoken out and said that he is not worried and that absolutely nothing is going to happen to him.
‘Nothing will happen to me’: Cassper on AKA’s ‘The Braai Show’ saga
AKA proudly shared that justice was served when a court proved that he owns half of SABC 1’s The Braai Show. The news comes after the show’s producer’s revealed that AKA would no longer host the show and was being replaced with Cassper.
AKA did not take lightly to the news and subsequently had his lawyers prove that he owns half the production rights as well as some part in who gets to host the show.
Since then, Cassper has been at the receiving end of ridicule from mostly AKA’s fans who say that he will have to pay for his part in the show.
‘No story to tell’
“Are you going to tell us your side of the story Cass,” one person asked, to which he responded:
“No story to tell. I was offered a job, I got paid what I wanted, including getting a promotion for my shoes and alcohol which I’m making Multi Millions from and the story ends there.
“Even if the broer did cartwheels naked on Mandela bridge, there’s nothing that’s gonna happen,” the rapper responded.
Meanwhile, AKA has said that everyone who was involved in the show will definitely be paying him back one way or the other. Guess we will all have to see what happens next…
