The Cards!!! Redbirds rock, and Albert is the best player in the game. I like our two rookies, Jamie Garcia is throwing great, and David Freese is playing great at 3rd and hitting like a freak. A nagging concern in the back of my mind, like an itch, is our bullpen. How does franklin get hitters out, anyway? ... I have season tickets, not great seats, but "good" ones. Now i get playoff tickets.

I think the phillies are coming to town this week. Halladay is scary good. And I hate Utley, but the bastard can really play. I am glad Howard got a new contract, he's a good kid from here, and now we have some idea how much Albert will get.

 

Franklin isnt much on power, but he has great control,alot better than that one idiot a few years ago,cant think of his name.And dont forget Brenndan Ryan,lets hope Albert, Matt,stay healthy,that middle line up scares the hell out of opposing pitchersGO REDBIRDS

 

And Rasmus is playing great. My neice and her boyfriend are at the game now! I am turning on the radio to listen to the game now. I like listening to mike shannon.

Our starting pitching is the best, i can't remember it ever being so good. Penny was a nice pick up, and I am glad SF didn't want him.

 

I like the cards also, hubby and i had season tickets for years and then we moved to Table Rock Lake/Mrs d.

 

That's sensible, purely from a fans standpoint. With Kotchman, Figgins, and especially Cliff Lee, Seattle really worries me.

btw... don't let me get too deep into talking about baseball. You won't be able to shut me up about it.

What impresses me the most about Halladay is the way he treats pitching in a major league game as if it's just something he does, but not in a disrespectful way or anything. You don't usually see the laid back, never fazed composure in pitchers, more often it's guys like Kobe, McNabb, etc to name a few, who are like that. It's amazing to watch.

Utley's perfect for our city. He's an old-school player who is a warrior and who doesn't ever use excuses even when it's obvious he's injured.

And Howard, well he might as well be the mayor of Philly. He's the man, and he's exactly the type of player kids should look up to: A guy who's so talented he doesn't have to work at it but yet he still does, and he continues to work towards being the best, most complete player he can be.

 

I root for whoever is playing the Sox, but I am a Yanks fan at heart.

 

If im not mistaken,Howard went to the same high school i went to,some years apart ok many years apart, did he attend Laffyette high school in the St.Louis area/Master Chief

 

Now i remember it was issy i was thinking about,he come in to save the game oh fuck/who do you think was better manager Whitey are Tony,im not sure/Master Chief
