‘Good luck’: Sizwe slams The Kiffness over Malema tweet backlash
The Kiffness’s bid for 947 to call Anele Mdoda to task for liking a Malema pic has not gone down well with her bestie Sizwe Dhlomo…

David Scott, aka The Kiffness, has demanded 947 address Anele Mdoda’s action of liking a picture of EFF leader Julius Malema on her Twitter or X account. But that hasn’t gone down well with Anele’s bestie Sizwe Dhlomo.
Sizwe – who is also a radio presenter – clapped back at the muso for giving the station an “ultimatum.”
The Kiffness has requested the station pull his music if it “endorses” Anele’s decision to “glorify a man calling for the killing of a minority ethnic group.”
The Cape Town muso is referring to a recent viral video of Malema singing the controversial struggle song Kill The Boer.

THE KIFFNESS DEMANDS 947 ACTION AFTER ANELE ‘LIKES’ MALEMA PIC
Over the weekend, Anele Mdoda – like many South Africans – commented on pictures taken at EFF’s elaborate celebrations at the FNB Stadium.
One particular pic of Malema being airlifted on a pedestal even got a like from the TV and radio personality. “This picture is [thumbs up emoji],” she tweeted.

But The Kiffness – real name David Scott – disagreed. Firing back, he tagged Anele’s employers. “Do you endorse this @947?”
He added: “I’d like to know if @947 are ok with employing someone who openly praises a man who incites violence against a minority ethnic group?
“If they are, then I’d like them to remove any of my music from their station.”

When one tweep reminded The Kiffness of a tweet he posted condemning “cancel culture,” he clapped back: “The difference is that I simply asked them to remove my music if they’re ok with her praising Malema.
“If it were cancel culture, I would’ve asked for 947 to fire Anele. Know the difference between cancel culture & freedom of association”.

SIZWE DHLOMO ENTERS THE CHAT
Following The Kiffness’s comments, Sizwe Dhlomo clapped back on his own Twitter account.

He scoffed: “Lol! The 947 music bank consists of over 14 000 songs, buddy. Good luck!”
The Kiffness responded to Sizwe, tweeting: “I’m aware & I know @947 will do fine without my music”.

Justifying his stance, he added: “The difference is that I refuse to associate with any DJ or station who uses their platform to openly glorify a man who is calling for the killing of a minority ethnic group.
“It’s a matter of principle, not popularity.”
But Sizwe was not done. Backing his bestie, he called out The Kiffness for his “ineffective” delivery.
He tweeted: “I wasn’t saying it’s a matter of popularity. I was pointing out that your method is ineffective. I’m not going to speak for Anele, she can speak for herself, but I can tell you she wasn’t glorifying anything about killing people”.
