‘God is good’: Manie Libbok and Handre Pollard unite for pic after epic game
All love here: Handre Pollard, Manie Libbok and their wives posted a picture together following their epic Springbok win against Tonga.
Manie Libbok and Handre Pollard have shut down all speculation of bad blood between them after uniting for a pic together. This, follows the Springboks defeat of Tonga in a Rugby World Cup match on Sunday, 1 October.
The famous fly-halves came together with their wives in a snap posted on Instagram.
The Boks defeated their opponents 49-18 in their final Pool B game. However, it will be a waiting game to determine if they proceed to the quarter-finals following an Ireland vs Scotland clash next weekend.

MNIE LIBBOK AND HANDRE POLLARD UNITE AFTER GAME
In the pic, posted by Handre Pollard’s wife Marise, the Springboks star and his colleague Manie Libbok are seen embracing and smiling. Both Marise and Libbok’s fiancee, Verna Arres, are seen standing beside their spouses.
“God is good,” Marise captioned the epiC image.
Verna reposted the image on her Instagram Stories with a heart emoji.
The image has poured cold water on any talk of rivalry or bad blood between the players.

Both Manie Libbok and Handre Pollard were praised for their performances in the Tonga clash. Pollard – who recently returned to the Springboks following an injury and started off the game – scored four successful conversations.
Libbok was called to replace Handre in the second half, scoring three accurate conversions.
‘I’M ALWAYS HERE FOR HIM’
Handre Pollard has previously also made it publicly known that he has Libbok’s back, despite the social media comparisons and criticism.
He told Rugby Pass: “Of course, there is a lot of heat on all the kickers at the moment for the last few games. But if you had to see the amount of work those guys put in every single day, you would know that it is going to come right any day”.
Pollard praised Libbok, adding that he was happy to offer any assistance if need be.

He said: “I don’t speak to Manie too much about it because I know it is a personal thing, kicking. Once there are too many voices, it can be very distracting.
“I am always there for him if he needs any help, but he is in good hands, and he is really looking good and confident in training, so I’m sure it will come right.”
