Miss South Africa 2022 runner up Ayanda Thabethe will be competing at the Miss Supranational pageant held in Poland on Friday 14 July – here’s a look at her time in Poland so far.
Ayanda Thabethe, who hails from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa will be representing Mzansi at the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland. The beauty queenjetted off to the country in Europe on 25 June.
AYANDA THABETHE ON REPRESENTING SA AT MISS SUPRANATIONAL
The Miss South Africa Organisation previously announced that Ayanda Thabethe will be representing South Africa at the Miss Supranational pageant held in Poland on 14 July. This is the same week that she launches her advocacy campaign Project Khulisa. Miss SA 2021 Lalela Mswane is the reigning Miss Supranational who will be passing her crown down to her successor.
The campaign aims to help communities struggling with food insecurity, while also opening critical discussions around nutrition and the country’s double burden of malnutrition and obesity – according to the Miss SA Organisation.
“I have some big shoes to fill. Miss South Africa 2021 Lalela Mswane is the reigning Miss Supranational and she in turn took the crown from Miss Namibia Chanique Rabe. I am looking forward to this next step in my journey. However, just as important to me, is the launch of Project Khulisa which I hope will make a difference in communities who need it most,” she said in a statement.
