Social media sensation Lasizwe Dambuza stunned Tweeps when he was seen grooving to Osama at the Sun City Takeover this past weekend after he claimed he checked in to a mental health facility on 23 November.

LASIZWE GROOVES TO ‘OSAMA’ IN SUN CITY

Lasizwe Dambuza announced that he checked into a mental health facility on 23 November. The social media sensation revealed that he wanted to deal with his depression one on one so he got ahead of it. Fans praised the Drink or Tell the Truth host for opening up about mental health.

“One thing about me, I am not shy to express how I feel. I have checked myself into a mental health wellness facility, I haven’t been okay for the past months,” he wrote on Instagram.

He went on to say he was depressed.

“I have been so depressed, I have decided to fight this by taking a break and dealing with this one on one,” he continued.

Tweeps assumed that Lasizwe was still at the mental health facility so they were shocked to see him grooving to Zakes Bantwini’s hit, Osama at the Sun City in Gauteng. Take a look…

“I thought Lasizwe was at a mental health facility,” the video was captioned.

“Wait, wasn’t Lasizwe supposed to be in a mental health wellness facility? Tell me the person I spotted on Naledi M’s IG story at the groove is not him. Oh WOW! ???? I guess we’re the fools of the century for trusting him,” wrote @Melo_Malebo.

WATCH: VIRAL VIDEO EXPLAINED

Lasizwe Dambuza responded to the viral video earlier today (29 November). He explained that the video of him at the mental health facility was only posted at the end of his journey. Therefore, he was no longer at the mental health facility when the video was posted.

“I had a choice to either involve my fans in my mental health journey or be quiet about it. I chose to even you as a form of awareness. This is because it is mandatory for you to take care of yourself and know where to stop and take a break,” said Lasizwe.

He went on to take responsibility for not updating his followers on his progress.

“I instructed my team to post the video at the end of my journey which I believe from my side and their side we failed to also reiterate that this is towards the end of my journey so everyone was under the impression that I am still in the facility and I failed to update you that I am out doing well,” he continued.
