‘Bheki Cele is useless’: Fans after AKA murder suspects’ release
South Africans have slammed Police Minister Bheki Cele following reports that the men linked to AKA and Tibz’s murders have been released.
The Megacy — slain rapper AKA’s legion of fans — are fuming and labelling Police Minister Bheki Cele “useless” after reports that three of the four men allegedly arrested in connection with the rapper’s brazen murder have been released.
According to News24, the four suspects’ advocate Annelene van den Heever said that three of her clients were released in the middle of the night on Wednesday, 29 March.

THREE MEN LINKED TO AKA MURDER RELEASED
AKA — real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes — and celebrity chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were gunned down in Durban on 10 February.
On Sunday, it was reported that three men were arrested and taken into custody along with two others in Belhar, Cape Town.
Speaking to TimesLIVE, Van den Heever said the four men were transported from Cape Town on Tuesday and arrived in Durban on Wednesday.
She said after three were released, one would appear at the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for carjacking. The other men have reportedly gone into hiding due to death threats.
