CAPE TOWN TIKTOKER POSTS ‘PERFECT MORNING’ VIDEO
In the clip posted earlier this week, Dani shares a look at what her “mornings before work” looks like.
The clip features her frolicking in the waves of a picturesque Cape Town beach, heading to Clifton for a morning jog, and then grabbing a coffee in Sea Point.
“I was in my office ready to work by 10 am”, she says in the voiceover.
Dani captioned the clip: “This is how every single Cape Townian should spend their mornings before work….if you disagree with me, then there is something wrong with

‘I DON’T SEE THE ISSUE’
In the comments section, many TikTokers felt Dani’s lifestyle – and wish for other Cape Town residents to follow suit – was far removed from reality.
@c_yan_duh_: “If anyone needed a point blank example of Cape Town white privilege. No hate to the creator, but this is so tone-deaf.”
@bonthle_m_: “People are living in poverty, Dani.”
@Cinnarels: “My 24 hours does not look the same as yours
@fadzasimango: “Do you think every person in Cape Town has the means (work schedule, transport, and proximity to the beach) to do this every day before their job starts?”
Responding to one critic, Dani revealed that her working day schedules were from 09:00 – 17:00 or from 10:00 to 18:00. “I don’t see the issue,” she added.
The 23-year-old also explained the motivation behind her morning routines.
She commented: “I eventually burnt out and realised I needed to restructure my life to make time for myself and my health.”
