Angela Atlang returns to ‘Muvhango’
Botswana-born actress Angela Atlang returns to SABC2’s soapie ‘Muvhango’ as James Motsamai’s sister, Itseng.
Actress Angela Atlang who joined Muvhango in 2021 has returned to the SABC 2 Tshivenda soapie.

The TVSA Muvhango October teasers report that the Botswana-born star Angela Atlang has returned.
Monday, 14 October teaser reads: “James is overjoyed when Itseng unexpectedly arrives at his doorstep.”
Atlang is popularly known for her role as James’ (Dingaan Mokebe KaKhumalo) sister, Itseng Motsamai in the soapie.
The actress who is a born-again Christian told Sunday World in 2021 that she was getting calls from church members in Botswana who are reprimanding her for being a prostitute in South Africa.
She rubbished rumours from her home country that she is a prostitute. Atlang’s character is a seductive but hard and gritty woman who plies her trade as a stripper on the show.
The actress said she was attacked on social media since she debuted on the soapie. She debuted on 16 August 2021 as James Motsamai’s estranged sister.
Atlang who’s been struggling to get a breakthrough on TV also said she was shocked people thought she was the character she portrays.
“I am shocked that people are actually thinking that this is my real life. I am not a sex worker; I am just doing my work. The stigma is very deep”, she added.
ACTRESS TAKES A BREAK FROM ‘MUVHANGO’?
The Muvhango actress Angela Atlang confirmed her pregnancy in January by sharing a picture from her pregnancy photoshoot on her Instagram account.
“For His promises are yes and amen. Here we grow again,” she captioned the post.
Muvhango fans took to her timeline to congratulate her and her partner as they have a baby on the way.
