Kwanele Mthethwa bids farewell to ‘Umkhokha: The Curse’

Former Redemption actress Kwanele Mthethwa has reportedly exited Mzansi Magic’s Umkhokha: The Curse.

Sunday World reports that Kwanele Mthethwa’s co-star Alizwa Sikhafungana, who plays the role of Gabisile Gumede, has paid tribute to Mthethwa.

Mthethwa, who plays Nobuntu, made an exit this week after there were reports that she was one of the actors leaving the Mzansi Magic telenovela.

Sikhafungana took to social media and wrote: ““Miss you so much sister, cannot wait to work with you again,” she wrote.

Mthethwa took over fan-favourite actress Kwezi Ndlovu’s character as Nobuntu in 2023 after Ndlovu fell pregnant.
