Lincoln Raker
Lincoln Raker was incarcerated at Pollsmoor Correctional Centre from 2013 until 2016 and participated in the restorative justice programme while serving his time. He writes from a formerly incarcerated lens and is currently part of Restore’s research and reintegration project running in South Africa. He is also engaged in gardening and sculpting, and also organises community events such as fun days for children. Additionally, he provides one-on-one trauma counselling sessions. He has a passion for connecting with people and helping them heal from their past experiences. Through his work, he aims to positively impact individuals and communities, fostering growth and resilience.
