SANParks has confirmed the news that a Kruger National Park field ranger was bitten on the lower leg by a hippo in the Sabie Gorge on Sunday.
SANParks has confirmed the news that a Kruger National Park (KNP) field ranger was bitten on the lower leg by a hippo in the Sabie Gorge on Sunday.
According to a Facebook post on Monday, the ranger was stabilised on the scene by a medical doctor and flown to a medical facility for additional care.
