Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard are interim charge of the side, while former Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki has come in as technical director and head of the youth academy.

And instead of Nkosinathi Sibisi believing the upheaval at the club would benefit Abafana Bes’thende, he says that it should make the KwaZulu-Natal side be more wary of the wounded Kaizer Chiefs, who are languishing in 11th position on the DStv Premiership.
Golden Arrows, meanwhile, are flying high in third and on track for CAF Confederation Cup qualification and their best ever league finish in PSL history, with fifth their previous best.

“I don’t believe that facing them [Chiefs] when they’ve just lost a coach can help us. Instead, I think they’ll be more dangerous because each and every player will want to impress,” Nkosinathi Sibisi told Sowetan.
“Since the start of the season, our goal has always been to finish higher than we’ve ever done before. Finishing second or third would be a huge achievement for us.
“I didn’t take it [being overlooked in the PSL awards nominations] personally. I believe that each and every thing in life has its own time. The defenders that have been nominated have also done exceptionally well, so I don’t feel bad at all.
“To have finally received a national team call-up shows that everything has its own time. I am very excited and I am looking forward to represent my nation,” concluded Sibisi.
