Tour guide killed at Paarl crocodile farm
A 54 year-old man was killed by crocodiles at a farm where the animals are bred for their meat and leather.

A tour guide at the popular Le Bonheur croc farm in Paarl was found dead in one of the animals’ pools. Police suspect the 54 year-old was busy working in one of the pools when some of the 1000-odd animals got hold of him.
Aside from serving as a popular tourist stop, Le Bonheur farms crocodiles, to be harvested for their meat and hide.
