Orlando Pirates vs Sundowns: Venue, Kick-Off Time and Date
PSL giants Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns clash again. The Buccaneers will host Downs at a different stadium.

Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns clash again this weekend for the second time this season.
The two giants meet at the FNB Stadium in a Betway Premiership clash on Sunday afternoon. The match was originally set to be played at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, and has been moved to the FNB Stadium.
Both teams have been head and shoulders above the rest of the 14 PSL teams this season. The title race appeared to be heating up in December but Masandawana’s good form has seen them go 16 points clear of the Buccaneers.
For Orlando Pirates to get back into the title race, they need to beat Stellenbosch FC midweek and also win against Sundowns this coming weekend. With four matches in hand, the Sea Robbers can gain more confidence knowing they have cut The Brazilians’ gap at the top of the log by at least three to six points after Sunday’s mouthwatering clash.
Both teams are still in the Nedbank Cup and CAF Champions League meaning they can still meet each other four times this season.
When do Orlando Pirates host Sundowns?
The Buccaneers host Sundowns at the FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon (16 March). Kick off is scheduled for 15:30. In previous years, the two teams have played each other on Saturdays, but this will be one of the few times the PSL decided to schedule big games for Sunday.
The last time Orlando Pirates played Sundowns, the Buccaneers were thrashed 4-1 at the Loftus Versfeld last month. Given the Soweto giants are not at their usual home turf, it might play in favour of Masandawana.
Can Pirates find a way to beat Masandawana?
