Kaizer Chiefs lose out on major target?
Kaizer Chiefs target Feisal Salum might not be sold by his club despite interest from Simba from Tanzania and Amakhosi.

Kaizer Chiefs appear to have given up their pursuit for Azam FC star Feisal Salum.
The 27-year-old Tanzanian midfielder has been heavily linked to Soweto giants Chiefs and Simba. Having worked with current Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi, it appeared as if the talented midfielder was heading his way to South Africa.
Kaizer Chiefs to move on from Salum
Reports claimed that Salum has refused to extend his stay with Azam with a potential of moving to the Premier Soccer League (PSL). According to top African football journalist Eric Ndagijimana, the Tanzanian outfit are keen to sell their best player for a good price.
Azam media officer Hasheem Ibwe, however has refuted claims that the club is willing to sell the Kaizer Chiefs target.
“Azam have already renewed his contract by another 12 or so months.
“If there’s any player we’re willing to keep, even with our lives, it’s that guy Feisal.
We’ve never opened any talks with any club because he’s not for sale,” he told Soccer Laduma.
Salum has reportedly signed a new deal making it difficult for clubs like Kaizer Chiefs to buy.
Feisal Salum has another 17 months on his contract with Azam. We’ve renewed his contract because he’s an important part of the team,” Ibwe said.
Can Amkhosi finally sign Salum next season?
