A resident of Orania – South Africa’s Afrikaner town – has lifted the lid on why non-Afrikaner people and those of other cultures are not permitted to live there.

Located in the Northern Cape, the community of just 3000 individuals was built on private property in 1963. It is self-sufficient, with its own businesses, schools, hospitals, and even currency.

In a YouTube feature by content creator Wade Moya, Orania Movement head Joost Strydom revealed why the town favoured white Afrikaners South Africans.

Meanwhile, residents of Orania have rejected US President Donald Trump’s offer of asylum to white, Afrikaner South Africans. This was based on his belief that SA practices “racial discrimination” and “racist laws.”
