RESULT: South Africa women suffer crushing Test defeat to Australia

The South African women’s side suffered a crushing defeat against Australia in their one-off Test at the WACA in Perth on Saturday.

Australia won by an innings and 284 runs.

South Africa posted 76 in their first innings, to which Australia replied with a mammoth 575/9 declared.

In their second knock South Africa fared better with a pair of 64s from Chloe Tryon and Delmi Tucker which helped the side post 215.
