KAIZER CHIEFS SIGNING OF THE DAY: JABU PULE MAHLANGU
The year 1999 when the great Muhsin Ertugral promoted Jabu Pule, a short skinny lad from Daveyton township in Benoni.

Supporters were instantly taken to the player known as “Shuffle” and “Ngwana wa Tshwenya.” He delivered joy to the Amakhosi faithful with 27 goals in 99 between 1999 and 2004.
Pule later moved to Austria to wear the colours of SV Mattersburg, but the experience lasted eight months after he was found drunk with a crashed car.
He subsequent moves included SuperSport United, Orlando Pirates, Orsters IF (Sweden), Platimum Stars and FC Cape Town.
Mahlangu’s international career included 17 games for the U17s, as well as 20 Bafana Bafana caps that included appearances at the 2002 World Cup in Korea Japan.
