ICYMI: Three Kaizer Chiefs players who should make the cut for Bafana Bafana

Broos calls up a Kaizer Chiefs player

On Wednesday last week, Hugo Broos announced his final squad for two upcoming friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo. The Belgian didn’t include a single Kaizer Chiefs player.

The Bafana head coach has recalled Amakhosi attacker Pule Mmodi, however, who was part of the preliminary squad to replace injured Themba Zwane who sustained a facial injury during the MTN8 semifinal clash against Chiefs on Saturday. Mmodi has been in good goal-scoring form, hitting the back of the net thrice in his last three outings.
