WATCH: Saile under fire after two horrible Chiefs misses

Chiefs forward Christian Saile Basomboli came under fire after two horrible misses in front of goal against Pirates on Saturday.

Early on in the Nedbank Cup semi-final against Pirates, Basomboli fluffed a golden chance right in front of goal, with Pirates scoring soon after to compound the situation.

The forward then had an opportunity at redemption when he had another great chance to head home a goal, but from point-blank range, he missed the target.

Saturday’s match was originally scheduled to get underway at 15:00, but kick-off was ultimately delayed at the FNB Stadium.

Due to late arriving fans, the match start was pushed back by at least 15 minutes, before a frenetic start to proceedings saw Pirates eventually draw first blood.
