PRINCE HARRY CLAIMS ROYALS WERE UPSET OVER MEGHAN’S POPULARITY

The Duke of Sussex Prince Harry claimed that the royal family was upset at how popular Meghan Markle was. This was during the couple’s official tour of Australia and New Zealand – which was the trip that they announced the duchess was pregnant.

“The issue is when someone who is marrying in, who should be a supporting act, is then stealing the limelight, or doing the job better than the person who was born to do this, that upsets people. It shifts the balance,” he said.

WHAT THE NEWSPAPER COVERS MEAN IN TERMS OF POPULARITY, CHARITIES AND MORE

There was a montage which included the new Princess of Wales Kate Middleton and the now King Charles III. Harry then explained that when you make the front page your charities succeed and your reputation can improve. However, the media is the ones who choose who to put on the front page.

“You’ve been led to believe that the only way your charities can succeed, and the only way that your reputation can be grown or improved, is if you are on the front pages of those newspapers. But the media are the one to choose who to put on the front page,” she said.

Meghan’s friend Lucy Fraser then revealed that she thought the Australian tour was a turning point because the pair were so popular with the public.

“The internals at the palace” did not like it,” said Fraser.
